Car Park Terms & Conditions

By entering Adelaide Entertainment Centre’s Car Park, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, which form a contract between you and Adelaide Venue Management Corporation (ABN 50 676 936 954) (AVM), operators of Adelaide Entertainment Centre. No fee will be charged if you exit the Car Park within 20 minutes.

1. Compliance with laws and parking rules – The Car Park is a Private Parking Area under the Private Parking Areas Act 1986 (SA) and is subject to a 48-hour maximum parking limit. You must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, signs, and staff directions. Park only in designated areas and in accordance with markings. Parking in permit, employee, or designated accessible parking bays without a valid permit will attract penalties under the Act.
2. Revocation of permission – We may, at our discretion and at any time, revoke our permission for your use of the Car Park.
3. Cashless and ticketless – The Carpark is cashless and ticketless. Payment is by card or electronic means only. A tax invoice is available upon payment.
4. Fees – Fees may vary for seasonal or peak pricing. Any adjustment to standard fees will be displayed at entries to the Car Park. Fees are calculated from time of entry to time of payment. You must exit within 20 minutes of paying. We may prevent your vehicle from leaving until fees are paid.
5. CCTV and surveillance – The Car Park is monitored by licence plate recognition technology (LPR). We also monitor areas of the Car Park using CCTV. Vehicle licence plates, images, and entry/exit data are collected for access, payment, security, enforcement and administration, and may be disclosed to our service providers or as required by law. You agree to such collection, use or disclosure for the stated purposes and in accordance with our Privacy Policy at avmc.com.au/privacy-policy.
6. Acceptance of risk and responsibility
   a. When you park your vehicle in the Car Park, you do so at your own risk and remain solely responsible for your vehicle and property in your vehicle.
   b. You must ensure your safety and safety of others, including your passengers, while using the Car Park.
   c. You accept responsibility and liability for all loss or damage arising from property damage (including damage to your vehicle or other vehicles), personal injury or death caused or contributed by you.
7. Release of Liability and Indemnity – To the fullest extent permitted by law, you:
   a. Acknowledge and agree that we are not liable to you or your passengers for any loss or damage (including indirect, consequential, incidental or special loss or damage) arising from your use or presence in the car park; and
   b. Must release us from, indemnify or otherwise hold us harmless for any loss or damage caused by your breach of these terms or your acts or omissions in the Car Park (including your operation of your vehicle in this car park). Your liability is reduced to the extent we directly caused or contributed to the loss.
8. No warranties – We make no warranty or representation in relation to the Car Park or our services in connection with the Car Park. Nothing in these terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded by law. To the extent our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the parking fee paid by you.
9. Entry and moving your vehicle – We may enter and move your vehicle where reasonably necessary for emergencies, Car Park operations, obstruction, or suspected abandonment.
10. If any provision of these Terms is or becomes unenforceable, it must be read down or severed without affecting the remaining Terms.
11. In these Terms, “Car Park” means any car park operated by AVM; and “we”, “our”, or “us” means Adelaide Venue Management Corporation and includes its officers, employees, contractors, and agents. These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia.
